Privacy Policy — MrBenns Personal Automation

MrBenns Personal Automation is a private, self-hosted n8n automation system that connects to my own Google account using the Gmail and Google Drive APIs.

Google data accessed

The application uses permissions authorised for my configured workflows. Gmail permissions allow sending automated emails and digests. Google Drive permissions allow uploading and managing files for my personal backups and automations.

How data is used

Google account data is used only for configured tasks, including sending email digests and uploading backup files to my Google Drive. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

Data sharing

Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. Data is transferred to Google services and any other services explicitly configured in the applicable workflows only as needed to carry out those workflows.

Data storage

The automation may store workflow configuration, execution metadata, and OAuth credentials within my self-hosted n8n installation. Email content generated by workflows may appear in Gmail sent-mail records, and backup files uploaded by workflows are stored in my Google Drive.

Data retention

Data is retained only as long as needed for the operation and troubleshooting of the automation, subject to the retention settings of my n8n installation and Google account.

Security

The n8n instance is privately administered. OAuth credentials and access tokens are stored by n8n and are not intentionally exposed publicly.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time through the Google Account security settings for connected applications.
